The story behind

The story behind the strategy

I am a fintech, AI, and strategy professional rooted in econometrics and quant modelling, currently completing a Dual Master's in Applied Economics and Management at IE Business School. My work sits at the intersection of quantitative econometrics, financial modeling, and AI product development. However, my perspective on global markets started long before my formal education.

The Origin: Two Worlds of Development

Growing up in Dubai, I was surrounded by a hyper-modern, commerce-driven economy where ambitious infrastructure was built practically overnight. Later, moving to India exposed me to a completely different reality: grassroots development, complex infrastructural challenges, and the stark inequalities of emerging markets.

Witnessing these two extremes shaped my central career philosophy. I realized early on that the most brilliant, high-level business strategies are entirely useless if they cannot be implemented on the ground. A strategy only matters if it can be executed, scaled, and measured in the real world.

The Academic Foundation: Economics Meets AI

To solve complex problems, you need to understand the constraints of the system. At Krea University, I studied Environmental Economics and the Earth System Boundaries framework, learning how ecological and geographic limits must guide economic planning. I put this into practice as a Research Assistant, gathering, coding, and geo-spatializing over 10 years of national road infrastructure data using ArcGIS to model economic impacts.

Today, at IE Business School, I am adding rigorous commercial and technological layers to that foundation. Specializing in Fintech and AI Automation, I am mastering the tools required to turn economic theory into enterprise solutions — from advanced econometrics to Python orchestration and LLM integration.

The Execution-Driven Mindset

I do not just analyze markets; I focus on the mechanics of how systems actually work. I look for the friction points — whether it is a fractured supply chain, an inefficient data pipeline, or a confusing user interface — and I engineer the operational solutions needed to remove them.

My career is defined by tangible, measurable results across three core pillars:

1. Commercial Execution & Global Trade

I believe that true commercial execution starts with identifying the gaps that others miss. At FOUREM Global FZE, I independently identified a critical upstream supply gap for Kraftliner paper in the SAARC region. Recognizing this unmet need, I didn't just write a market report — I took action and leveraged a network of European paper mills to connect supply with South Asian demand. I independently managed the logistics and structured a cross-border trade line that generated $3.5 million in revenue.

2. Data-Driven Funding & Advisory

Data without a narrative is just noise. At GSRV and Associates, I spearheaded a primary market study involving over 500 surveys to test the viability of a sustainable footwear line. By translating raw consumer preferences into a robust financial feasibility model, I built the data foundation that successfully secured $100,000 in pre-series funding.

3. AI Product Development

I build tools to solve the friction I see in the market. Using low-code platforms and AI automation systems, I focus on turning abstract economic and financial concepts into scalable applications that deliver immediate value to the end user.

Mentorship & Communication

I believe that leadership is about elevating the people around you. Over three years, I served as Treasurer for both the gaming and entrepreneurship clubs at my university. During this time, I also volunteered with Rhapsody Kruu, an organization aimed at counseling high school students to help them develop small-scale projects and connect with investors and industry mentors. I counseled, ideated, and evaluated over 300 students across Tamil Nadu, helping them refine and pitch more than 20 social impact projects to investors. This experience, combined with winning a Best Presenter Award in a university-wide consulting competition, taught me how to translate complex technical ideas into compelling, human-centric stories.

The Athlete's Discipline

Beyond the data and financial models, my approach to work is deeply influenced by my background as a national-level long-distance swimmer from 2017 to 2020. Long-distance swimming requires immense endurance, strategic pacing, and the mental resilience to keep pushing when the environment is exhausting. I bring that exact same discipline, patience, and focus to my professional life — whether I am cleaning a massive dataset at 2:00 AM or navigating a complex cross-border negotiation.

I am actively seeking roles in business strategy, corporate finance, and digital transformation where I can translate complex, messy data into clear, actionable insights. If you are looking for someone who bridges the gap between high-level strategy and ground-level execution, I would love to connect.

Principles

What Drives Me

Execution Over Theory

Ideas are starting points. I focus on building the operational architecture that transforms strategy into measurable outcomes.

Systems Thinking

Every problem is a system. I look for the friction points — the bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and broken feedback loops — and engineer solutions to remove them.

Quantitative Rigor

Decisions should be grounded in data, not intuition alone. I bring econometric precision and analytical depth to every problem I tackle.

Global Adaptability

Three continents. Multiple languages. Diverse markets. I decode cultural operating systems and find opportunity in unfamiliar environments.
